Election Consequences: Land Grab Is Underway
The "Green New Steal" promotors want your land by eminent domain...
Prescott, AZ February 19, 2023… To steal, “take (another person's property) without permission or legal right and without intending to return it.” Yup, that is what is afoot.
“Under all is the land” as the National Association of REALTORS says. If you control the land, you control what happens upon it, and indeed what happens in the State where it is located. Speaking of control, it seems the federal government is never satisfied with the control it has, it always wants more. For example, in Arizona, less than 13% of the land is held by private owners. The remainder is already held by one government unit or another; federal, state, county, city, and tribal units “own” over 87% of the land already.
America was built on the notion of private property rights, from copyright of one’s work of the mind, also known legally as “work product,” to the land one sits on to write and read, or just quiet enjoyment, private property rights are foundational to the American citizen’s sense of security and the idea of statehood.
There is a cancer afflicting the United States, and one of the symptoms is the gullible nature of people generally. For example, the so-called “Green New Deal” and the lack of critical thinking behind it. Thanks to former green agenda advocate turned counter-culture whistleblower Michael Shellenberger the curtain has been pulled back and we now see plainly, the devious plan at work. Here is just one example, we now know that it takes more energy to mine, manufacture, deploy, and decommission a solar panel, than it can generate over its lifetime (allegedly 20 years).
Elbridge Gerry and the influence of a “general government”…
What makes a “state” in these United States of America is the land that is apportioned at Stathood. In almost every state there is a diminimus property tax to fund the Sheriff, and basic services to support the land owner, not the government. It seems to be a fair system where all landowners share proportionately in the services that arguably they all need or will need in the future.
But what happens when a rogue President of the United States steps in and through an Executive Order (EO) declares vast swaths of land to be a National Park, National Monument, or some other fictitious entity not specifically defined in the Constitution of the United States as an enclave? The federal bureaucracy has, for decades engaged in a war against the States by stealing their land through edicts that are on their face unconstitutional. Now the federal government instead of preserving the land, wants to prostitute it.
Federal “islands” are created when land is seeded back to the Federal government by the State of jurisdiction. As a result of the “Enclave Clause,” whenever the state government consented to the purchase of property by the federal government for a needful building, the United States obtained exclusive legislative jurisdiction over that parcel of property.
This clause enables Congress to govern the District of Columbia. Congress has now delegated that power to a locally elected government, subject to federal oversight. Congress also governs forts, magazines, arsenals, dockyards, and other places obtained from the states for the federal government's protective purposes.
Delegates to the Constitutional Convention Pinkney, Sherman, King, and Gerry, had quite a bit to say about maintaining a standing army and navy and funding the installations they typically need, as well as what land for the seat of the national government. The date was September 5, 1787 and the exchange was recorded in the meeting minutes of the Constitutional Convention.
Mr. Gerry contended that this power might be made use of to enslave any particular State by buying up its territory, and that the strongholds proposed would be a means of awing the State into an undue obedience to the Genl. Government. Mr. King thought himself the provision unnecessary, the power being already involved: but would move to insert after the word "purchased" the words "by the consent of the Legislature of the State" This would certainly make the power safe.1
And look at what we have today…
