Phoenix, AZ May 26, 2023… Three state legislatures are working to set the real time database standards for thwarting election fraud at the individual level. Many are optimistic more states will follow. What makes the move to abandon ERIC, the Electronic Registration Information Center, important is how the system can be, and likely has been, used to inject the very “voters” into the system that it was intended to stop.
The claim, “ERIC’s mission is to help states improve the accuracy of America’s voter rolls, increase access to voter registration for all eligible citizens, reduce election costs, and increase efficiencies in elections.” Unfortunately ERIC has been successful at delivering information directly to political party operatives for the purpose of harvesting “unused” votes for registered voters in states that can be inserted into other states for nefarious purposes.
“Utilizing these four data sources, ERIC provides its members with reports that identify inaccurate or out-of-date voter registration records, deceased voters, individuals who appear to be eligible to vote but who are not yet registered, and possible cases of illegal voting.”
The information is intended for “members” —states that have paid into the system— to use for voter roll clean-up, but that does not explain how political party operatives have direct access to the system as well.
At a high level, ERIC reports…
States are abandoning ERIC for several reasons, not the least of which is the involvement of David Becker, hyper-partisan leftist and his ties to Center for Election Innovation & Research (CEIR). CEIR receives major funding from non other than Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg. The very same people who injected millions of dollars across America in the great ballot dropbox scandal of 2020. Texas is the most recent. Louisiana, Ohio, Iowa, Florida, Alabama, Missouri and West Virginia have all left and more will follow.
Allegedly, “[T]he members of the Corporation shall consist solely of state, territorial governmental units, or the District of Columbia. Each member shall be represented by the chief election official or a chief election official’s designee to act on the member’s behalf for all purposes related to the Corporation, including service on the Board of Directors or as an Officer (the “Member Representative”). A chief election official may designate a new or replacement Member Representative at any time for any reason, at their discretion…” Quoting ERIC Bylaws, Art. II, Sec.1.
The states that have withdrawn understand the days of obsolete, batch based SQL relational technology is the reason the nefarious actors —both state and non-state— are able to steal any important election. We already know that no computer system, from cell phones to mainframes, is totally secure. Professor J. Alex Halderman has made a career studying electronic voting security. His research has changed the concept of stolen elections from theory to reality.
To be clear, the problem is not just with ERIC, but also with some state elections officials. ERIC claims to have identified 1 million duplicate names, and 570,600 deceased voters. But were they removed from the voter rolls? In many cases, Arizona included, they were not.
Did the “vote” in the 2022 General Election? The ERIC Accurate Voter Rolls report. In closing, systems are hackable and thus exploitable. In the final analysis, people with a sound moral compass are the ultimate strength or weakness. Temptation matched with the lust for power and a vulnerable system will be the end of our democratically elected constitutional republic.
